As we all know, Artificial Intelligence is one of the technologies of the future. I still remember what happened in a series movie called 'The 100', where an AI destroyed the eart in the 21st centuty and this post gives me goosebumps. Recently, Stephen Hawking had warned that AI has the potential to destroy civilization and said that AI could also be the worst thing that has ever happened to humanity. We have seen several companies have invested a lot in this segment, creating tools and hardware to make this technology more profound and capable.Recently, we have seen the well-known, Stephen Hawking, an English theoretical physicist said that AI will outperform humans. Now, Stephen Hawking had warned that AI has the potential to destroy civilization and said that AI could also be the worst thing that has ever happened to humanity.“Success in creating effective AI, could bethe biggest event in the history of our civilization. Or the worst. We just don’t know. So we cannot know if we will be infinitely helped by AI, or ignored by it and side-lined, or conceivably destroyed by it.”Stephen Hawking while speaking at the Web Summit technology conference in Lisbonsaidthat mankind needs to find a way to control computers.“Unless we learn how to prepare for, and avoid, the potential risks, AI could be the worst event in the history of our civilization. It brings dangers, like powerful autonomous weapons, or new ways for the few to oppress the many. It could bring great disruption to our economy”Stephen Hawking also said “AI could develop a will of its own, a will that is in conflict with ours and which could destroy us. In short, the rise of powerful AI will be either the best, or the worst thing ever to happen to humanity.”Previously, Stephen Hawking also said that humans only have around 100 years to leave Earth in order to survive as a species “I strongly believe we should startseeking alternative planets for possible habitation”

Wow, the guy has great insight about how AI could lead human race to vanity. Well I will quite agree with him but on the other side, it has some advantages attached to it.
