We all know that the tech giant Google has a habit of trying to meet the application needs of its Android ecosystem. Hence, recently, the tech giant Google just launched a new extraordinary application to watch cable-free live TV.
Since its launch last April, YouTube TV has grown to cover two-thirds of the United States, covering the 50 main metropolitan areas.

Today, the service launches its new native application for televisions, optimizing its television experience to large screens. Until now, YouTube TV has been able to be enjoyed on TVs through a Chromecast, since it was only available for phones, tablets, and desktops.

Recall that YouTube TV is a subscription service that seeks to compete against cable TV offers in the United States, offering a free month as evidence

The new YouTube TV app begins its deployment on Android TV devices, particularly NVIDIA SHIELD and TVs with Android TV built-in. The new application will also arrive these days to the family of Xbox One devices (Xbox One, Xbox One S, and soon Xbox One X), and in the coming weeks will also reach the smart TVs of LG, Sony, and Samsung, among others, as well as Apple TV devices.

In terms of capabilities, the new YouTube TV application to enjoy live broadcasts on television screens can be controlled via the remote control of the TV or game controller.

It has a new guide to know in advance the next live broadcasts, allows the reproduction in the background, offers a more cinematic experience thanks to its darker background, and even allows to resume emissions at the point where they were left on other devices.

Note that the YouTube TV service has been compatible with Google Home and Assistant since recent days and that those who want to know when it will be available in the market in which they find, from YouTube point out that they must register on the web under the TV address. youtube.com to get a notification at the moment when the service is available.
